Malaysia

Hello everyone!

We've been away for a while and Malaysia is the place. We went there for an event in Johor Bharu for Monday and Tuesday where the Coromant team presented products and objectives they have as a company. Then a few of us continued to Kuala Lumpur for three days in the office there. Mr. Pang, our leader, had to meet customers over there and discuss the event next week which is taking place in Penang.

Malayisa is a muslim country and very different for us. The first two days were hard. There was no toilet, only a hole, and the people really stared at us. This was frightening. Really. It was not like staring in Sweden, or even Singapore, no worse. They stopped by, or walked past us many times, just to look at us. It was like we were something they had never seen. We were also warned for naughty boys and this frightened us. Our first impression of Malaysia is therefore not very positive.

Luckily we spent the other three days in Kuala Lumpur, which was much better. They brought us to see so many odd things and try odd food, like Japanese, Chinese, Indian and local. We also tried durian. It is a fruit that has an awful smell, but the taste is even worse. Well, we tried it and after that our colleagues from Sandvik told us that we finally had visited Singapore and Malaysia truly. This people actually do like this fruit. We have also seen the biggest fruit ever. You can't imagine. The weight was about 20 kg. I think they called it Jek Fruit. Wow. It is wow.

Now I am about to sleep - tired after a week of experiences I would like to keep forever. This is awsome!
Goodnight!
